Varley opening day was a chance to see some new appliances and this one was the biggest surprise to me.

With all the trucks looking the same these days its nice to see something different.

First thing to notice is the fact that its a rural truck and is in fact 2 wheel drive.

4,000 ltrs water an ICS and Comms center, Lighting mast, monitor (placed correctly makes a fine curtain mist over the vehicle) Microwave oven (240 volt converter) and is about to be fitted with basic road rescue gear.

Another thing you will notice is no BA! This brigade is evaluating their own a special mask system that does not require air cylinders and allows good breathing in some instances.
