Calls came in for this fire in a hotel lift shaft at Springwood, Sth East region, on arrival lots of smoke, hotel was evacuated and crews requested an aerial appliance from Brisbane. On finding the seat of the fire it was ascertained to be a store room, fire was extinguished soon after, the store room being of cement structure no real damage caused.
